Day 1: Welcome to Uganda – Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be received by your private guide and chauffeured to your luxury boutique hotel. Unwind in a tranquil tropical garden or enjoy a quiet evening cocktail overlooking Lake Victoria.

Optional: Sunset cruise on Lake Victoria or a private chef’s dinner.

Day 2: Fly or Drive to Pian Upe – Uganda’s Secret Wilderness

After breakfast, embark on a scenic domestic flight (or luxury road transfer) to the remote and untouched Pian Upe Game Reserve — a rarely explored gem in Uganda’s wild northeast. Settle into a canvas luxury tent with sweeping views of Mount Kadam.

Enjoy an afternoon game drive or nature walk to spot rare species like cheetahs, roan antelopes, and ostriches. The silence here is pristine — it’s just you, the wild, and the wind.

Day 3: Sunrise Wilderness Drive – Cultural Transition to Mount Moroto

Begin the day with a sunrise drive through the golden plains of Pian Upe. After a leisurely bush breakfast, proceed to Mount Moroto, the cultural heart of Karamoja. En route, visit local trading centers and scenic ridges.

On arrival, check into your eco-lodge nestled at the base of Mount Moroto. In the evening, join a local elder for Karamojong storytelling, firelight dancing, and a tasting of traditional cuisine paired with wine or local honey beer.

Day 4: Into the Wild – Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park

Stop for a picnic-style lunch along the Karenga plains before arriving at your elegant luxury lodge, where giraffes may greet you at the poolside. Unwind with a sundowner cocktail as the sun sinks behind the Morungole mountains.

Day 5: Full-Day Game Viewing in Kidepo – Where Africa Still Roars

Today, experience the Narus Valley and Kidepo Valley on a full-day luxury game safari. Track herds of elephants, towering giraffes, massive Cape buffalo, zebras, cheetahs, and lions basking on rock outcrops.

Pause midday for a bush lunch under acacia trees, before continuing toward the sand riverbeds of Kidepo, with views stretching into South Sudan. You may also spot ostriches and the elusive bat-eared fox.

Day 6: Morning Safari & Community Immersion with the Karamojong

Begin with an early morning drive or walking safari with armed rangers, followed by a visit to a nearby Karamojong Manyatta (homestead). Engage in traditional craft-making, music, and explore their unique dress, culture, and warrior heritage.

Return to the lodge for an afternoon at leisure — soak in your private outdoor stone tub, enjoy an optional spa treatment, or relax with a book from your lodge library overlooking the valley.

Day 7: Scenic Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls either via private domestic flight or overland adventure through Gulu and the Acholi lands — where rolling plains, rivers, and village life line the way.

Arrive at your luxury lodge along the Nile River in time for a candlelit dinner. Watch hippos grunt in the water below as you fall asleep to the sounds of nature.

Day 8: Game Drive & Iconic Nile Boat Safari to the Falls

Head out early for a game drive across the northern Murchison savannah — searching for lions, hyenas, hartebeest, giraffes, elephants, and leopards.

In the afternoon, cruise the Victoria Nile on a luxury boat safari to the base of Murchison Falls. Watch the powerful cascade crash through a 7-meter gorge — one of the world’s most dramatic natural displays. Enjoy snacks and drinks on board as birds and wildlife line the riverbanks.

Optional: Add a hike to the top of the falls or a private sundowner cruise.

Day 9: Return to Entebbe & Departure

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and transfer to Pakuba Airstrip for your domestic flight to Entebbe. Upon arrival, freshen up at a day room or enjoy a meal with lake views. Transfer to Entebbe International Airport in time for your outbound flight.

Optional: Stop at Mabamba Swamp for a final birding experience with a chance to see the rare Shoebill Stork (time permitting).
