Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Your safari adventure begins with an early breakfast, followed by pick-up from your hotel at 7:00 AM by our professional driver-guide. After a short briefing, we embark on a scenic six-hour drive to Murchison Falls National Park, passing through Luwero.
Our first major stop is Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home to both black and white rhinos. Enjoy an exciting rhino tracking experience before continuing to Masindi for a relaxed lunch.
In the afternoon, we proceed into the park and drive straight to the top of Murchison Falls—one of the world’s most powerful waterfalls. Witness the Nile River thundering through an 8-meter-wide gorge, a truly awe-inspiring sight. Take your time capturing stunning photos and soaking in the view.
Later, we head to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Boat Cruise
Wake up early for a 6:30 AM breakfast before heading out on a morning game drive at 7:00 AM. With a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guide on board, you’ll explore the rich savannah plains and look out for iconic wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, waterbucks, and a variety of bird species.
Return to the lodge to freshen up and enjoy lunch. At 2:00 PM, set off for a breathtaking boat cruise along the Nile River, leading to the base of the falls. On this cruise, spot Nile crocodiles, hippos, elephants, and buffaloes lounging by the riverbanks. Look out for vibrant birds like kingfishers, bee-eaters, and the elusive shoebill stork.
Once at the base of the falls, you’ll have the option to hike up to the top, where you’ll reunite with your driver-guide for a transfer back to the lodge.
Overnight at: Pakuba Safari Lodge
Day 3: Morning Game Drive & Return to Kampala / Entebbe
After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive to spot more wildlife and bid farewell to the park’s beautiful landscapes. Look out for elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, and more bird species during this memorable last excursion.
We’ll then exit the park and stop for lunch in Masindi before continuing the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in the evening.
