Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park After your Early Morning breakfast, you will embark on your Flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National park where you will be met by our representative at Kihihi Airstrip, who will transfer you to the lodge. After an early breakfast to fuel the adventure, you’ll head to the Uganda Wildlife Authority briefing point by 8 AM. Here, rangers will guide you through everything you need to know before stepping into the wild. Trekking into the ancient Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is no casual walk — it’s a full-on jungle experience. Expect to hike for 3 to 6 hours, so bring your spirit of adventure, a good pair of boots, and a camera that’s ready for magic.
