Day 1: Arrival – Shoebill Search by Canoe
Begin your adventure upon arrival in Entebbe. Head straight to Mabamba Swamp, paddling silently in a local canoe to spot the elusive Shoebill Stork among the papyrus reeds. Return to Tilapia Lodge, a peaceful lakeside retreat, for an evening of relaxation amid chirping birds and serene waters.

Day 2: Rhinos & Nile River Views – Transfer to Murchison Falls NP
Drive north through Uganda’s vibrant countryside, stopping at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rhinos on foot—a unique conservation experience. Continue to Murchison Falls National Park, settling at Hornbill Bush Lodge along the Nile. Enjoy dinner surrounded by the sounds of hippos and glimpses of elephants in the distance.

Day 3: Game Drive & Boat Safari in Murchison Falls NP
Rise early for a thrilling morning game drive across the savannah to spot lions, giraffes, elephants, and buffaloes. After lunch, embark on a scenic boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, encountering hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. Return to the lodge for a peaceful evening.

Day 4: Scenic Drive to Queen Elizabeth NP
Travel south through picturesque villages and lush farmland toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive at Pumba Safari Cottages, perched above the park with sweeping views of the plains and the Great Rift Valley. Evening at leisure to enjoy the sunset over the park.

Day 5: Chimp Trekking & Kazinga Channel Cruise
Start with a morning chimpanzee trek in Kyambura Gorge, observing wild chimps in their natural rainforest habitat. After lunch, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, spotting hippos, elephants, and hundreds of bird species along the waterway.

Day 6: Tree-Climbing Lions & Journey to Bwindi
Explore the Ishasha sector, famed for its tree-climbing lions, before heading into the highlands of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Overnight at Buhoma Community Rest Camp, a locally-run lodge supporting community projects.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking – A Day You’ll Never Forget
Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi. Spend an intimate hour with a family of mountain gorillas, guided by expert trackers. After this unforgettable encounter, continue to Topi Lodge at the edge of Ishasha for a relaxed evening and a guided village walk at sunset.

Day 8: Scenic Drive to Entebbe – With Equator Stop
Journey back to Entebbe, passing rolling farmland and bustling towns. Stop at the Equator for photos and souvenirs before continuing to the airport for your departure. Optionally, add an overnight stay at Tilapia Lodge depending on your flight schedule.
