Day 1: Journey to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Our adventure begins with an early departure from Kampala. En route, students enjoy a conservation-based stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where they'll have a guided walking experience to track rhinos and learn about Uganda’s rhino reintroduction program. After lunch in Masindi, we proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, with a scenic drive culminating in a breathtaking visit to the top of the falls. Here, the mighty Nile squeezes through a 7-meter gorge, an ideal moment for photography and reflection.

Accommodation: Red Chilli Rest Camp (Budget Dorms or Bandas)

Day 2: Game Drive and Nile Boat Safari

Students will rise early for a sunrise game drive across the northern sector of Murchison Falls. Expect sightings of giraffes, elephants, lions, oribis, hartebeests, and possibly a leopard if we’re lucky. After lunch, we embark on a relaxing boat cruise along the Nile to the base of the falls. Along the way, students will encounter hippos, crocodiles, elephants on the riverbanks, and a range of birdlife — including the African fish eagle and kingfishers. This day offers both thrill and ecological insights into riverine ecosystems.

Accommodation: Red Chilli Rest Camp

Day 3: Scenic Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, we set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park — Uganda’s most popular savannah park. The route takes us through Albertine escarpments, with a lunch stop in Fort Portal. Along the way, students enjoy scenic views of tea plantations, crater lakes, and rural Uganda. We check in to our lodge in the evening, ready for more exploration the next day.

Accommodation: Pumba Safari Cottages

Day 4: Game Viewing and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Today is action-packed. We start with a sunrise game drive in the Kasenyi plains, a prime spot for lion sightings and large herds of Uganda kobs. Later in the afternoon, students experience the Kazinga Channel boat cruise — a highlight of the safari — with its dense concentration of hippos, buffaloes, elephants, and water birds. A guided session explains the ecosystem significance of this natural channel linking Lakes Edward and George.

Accommodation: Pumba Safari Cottages

Day 5: Ishasha Sector and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

We drive south through the famous Ishasha sector, known for its tree-climbing lions. With luck, students will witness this rare behavior. After a picnic lunch, we continue toward Lake Mburo National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy sweeping savannah views and sightings of impalas, zebras, and elands from the lodge's elevated terrace.

Accommodation: Eagles Nest Camp (Tented Accommodation)

Day 6: Walking Safari and Return to Kampala

On our final day, we embark on a guided walking safari — a safe and immersive experience in Lake Mburo’s tranquil wilderness. This is an opportunity for students to observe animals like zebras and topis on foot and to learn about animal behavior, tracks, and park conservation. We stop at the Equator for the classic water experiment and photos, then return to Kampala, completing a journey of discovery, education, and excitement.
