Tourism & Hospitality
Internship Program 2026
Gain real-world safari experience with one of Uganda’s trusted and fast-growing tour operators. The Upcountry Safaris Uganda Internship Program is strategically designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and practical industry execution — transforming academic knowledge into real operational skill.
Within a dynamic and professional safari environment, interns are immersed in live tour planning, reservations management, client communication, marketing strategy, and field logistics. You won’t just observe the industry — you will participate in it, contribute to it, and understand how successful safari experiences are designed, sold, and delivered.
This is more than office attachment — it is structured, hands-on immersion into Uganda’s tourism industry, where professionalism meets adventure and learning meets real impact.
The Team Lead
At Upcountry Safaris Uganda, we believe the future of tourism lies in well-trained, passionate, and industry-ready professionals.
Many students graduate with strong theoretical knowledge but limited practical exposure. Our internship program was created to close that gap — giving students the opportunity to experience real tour operations, client handling, field coordination, and marketing within a functioning safari company.
We are committed to mentorship, professionalism, and nurturing the next generation of tourism leaders.
We look forward to welcoming you into our team.
Director, Upcountry Safaris Uganda
