Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to Uganda
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, the Upcountry Safaris Uganda team will meet and transfer you to your hotel. Take time to relax and prepare for your adventure.

Day 2: Entebbe to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, head north with Upcountry Safaris Uganda, stopping at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting rhino tracking experience. Continue to Murchison Falls National Park, visiting the Top of the Falls to witness the mighty Nile exploding through a seven-meter gorge before plunging below. Arrive at your lodge in time for dinner.

Day 3: Game Drive and Nile Boat Cruise – Murchison Falls
Rise early for a thrilling game drive across the savannah, where you may spot elephants, giraffes, buffalo, lions, and numerous antelope species. Return for a late breakfast and relaxation before setting out on an afternoon boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, encountering hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife.

Day 4: Scenic Journey to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, depart for the lush landscapes of Kibale Forest National Park, renowned as East Africa’s primate capital with 13 primate species and over 325 bird species. Arrive in the evening and settle into your forest lodge.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start the day with a thrilling chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kibale, observing these playful primates in their natural habitat. After lunch, travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most scenic and wildlife-rich reserves, and check in at your lodge.

Day 6: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise – Queen Elizabeth
Embark on a morning game drive through the Kasenyi plains, famous for sightings of lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and herds of antelope. After lunch, enjoy a leisurely boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a hotspot for hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and spectacular birdlife.

Day 7: Ishasha Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Head south through the remote Ishasha sector, known for its unique population of tree-climbing lions. Later, continue into the misty highlands of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Today marks the highlight of your safari with Upcountry Safaris Uganda. After a briefing at the park headquarters, set off on a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking adventure. Spending time with a gorilla family in their natural environment is an unforgettable experience that makes Uganda safaris truly special.

Day 9: Bwindi to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, drive through the rolling hills and farmlands of Ankole to Lake Mburo National Park, famous for its zebras, impalas, and elands. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided nature walk through the park for a more intimate encounter with Uganda’s wildlife.

Day 10: Lake Mburo to Entebbe – Departure
Enjoy a morning game drive as you exit Lake Mburo National Park, watching for zebras, giraffes, and antelope species. Stop at the Uganda Equator for photos and a water experiment before continuing to Entebbe for your evening flight.
